This is my picture for the Potion Parade at the #Nordanner group. I decided to go a bit wild with the potions and put my own spin on the regular rectangular background, I think it gives a nice effect.
The idea was to have liparis flightless on the ground, struggleing against the madness that the nightshade that eirene is experiencing in her head and body, spreading and twisting her mind in a constant struggle for control.
I triiiieeeddd to use some of what I learned in my art class for the composition, its not great.. but its something, i think i got the flow down lol and maybe some rhythm... maybe lol.
The idea of having eirene sourounded by thick smokey like tendrils represents the potion itself with its power and beauty as it tries to attach to an innocent. it blocks out the sun and kills out the flowers leaving paris below her with only a small amount of sky and a small amount of ground to hold on to..

time: at least 4 days time, I would work almost constantly but with breaks for about a week, so im guesstimating 4 solid days... which is a record for me lol

thank you! yeah, she doesnt at the moment, wanted it to be sorta more dark... and for some reason the hair looks too happy lol XDD so i did without it :) we shaved it for the show ;p
